Welcome to Nelsonville-York Elementary School. We strive to meet the academic
and emotional needs of all of our students. The staff is dedicated to guiding each student to reach his or her fullest academic potential. We offer many opportunities for students to succeed. Large group work, small group work and individual tutoring are offered. Currently, free after school tutoring is offered to students in grades 3-5. Tutoring, transportation and a snack are provided to the students free of charge.

As part of our holistic approach to learning, all students receive a free breakfast so they will be healthy and ready to learn each day.

We remain designated as an EXCELLENT SCHOOL. Our test scores and attendance earn us the EXCELLENT designation and is due to the hard work and efforts of our students, families, teachers and support staff.
